Countryside is a beautiful depiction of just that, English countryside. Genuine hand engraving decorated underglaze. This plate was manufactured by Unicorn Pottery 1980 with the original Enoch Wedgwood design. Enoch Wedgwood was known for his own styles and designs of pottery seperate from the Jasperware business of his cousin Josiah Wedgwood, who in later years ended up taking over the Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Company and renaming it Unicorn Pottery. This Countryside plate is a large 10 inch size with a deep style, in a even blue and white shaded color (a blue mark on back rim, see picture) the plate is smooth to touch with a thick glaze.
