Listed for you here is a lovely antique hand painted porcelain plate. The beautiful floral design is intricate and exquisite, more like a work of art to appreciate. Made in Austria with the hallmark from 1884-1909. In 1884 the porcelain factory owned by Augustin Novotny was sold in Auction to Moritz Zdekauer Bank this company exported porcelain products to North and South Americas and the Dutch Colonies. In 1909 the firm was bought by C.M. Hutschenreuther and since used the MZ Aktrikay mark. The Altrohlau porcelain factories operated until 1945, when it was nationalized. The company still operates in the Czech Republic under the name Starorolsky Porcelain Moritz Zdekauer in the town of Stara Role near Karlovy Vary. This antique plate is in excellent condition. Measurements are 9 3/4"wide. Ideal collectible of fine porcelain. Very pretty.
